Catalina Resort, Maroochydore, comprises of two towers of stylishly appointed, fully self-contained apartments. The resort is well established and is very popular with visitors to the beautiful Sunshine Coast region. All units are fully self-contained and the resort offers onsite facilities such as two heated, swimming pools, spa, sauna, tennis courts and BBQ area.

Catalina Resort Tower 1 was undergoing a full external refurbishment and AMA were contracted to complete all replacement glass balustrades on the project. Michael Danieluk, Project Manager at Midson, explained that it was important that they used a local company for this job. “Catalina Apartments have been established on the Sunshine Coast for many years, so it is good to be able to have access to great tradespeople in the local area that we can work with”.

As a popular resort that is booked out for most of the year, an efficient refurbishment process was crucial to the success of the project and to ensure minimum disruption to the running of the site. Michael Danieluk was extremely pleased with the efficiencies of the team at AMA. “There were no issues to address at all with Glass Balustrading work, AMA were extremely professional from initial quote, right through to working on completion of the project. That level of professionalism makes a significant positive impact on the overall success of any project,” Michael said.
